Welcome to OM IN THE LENS
My philosophy for photography and travel are pretty much the same: the perfect shot/experience is already out there. My challenge is to do my homework and then maintain clarity with an open heart and spirit. In Buddhist terms: I come to life with an open palm ... an empty rice bowl waiting to be filled. In meditative terms: OM clears all the noise and visual distractions that can otherwise get in the way of capturing a beautiful moment. Because of this, the adventures, sights, sounds and people I've met along the way sometime overwhelm me. I'll be sharing some of these "rice bowls" as I continue posting. I'd love to hear what you think and how your journey is unfolding.
